conservation draft

The goal of The Garden Club of East Hampton Conservation Committee is
to work in partnership with both government and community organizations
on initiatives that support our mission to restore, improve and protect the
quality of the environment through educational programs and action in the
fields of conservation and civic improvement.

Photos from the August 4, 2014 presentation given by the Garden Club of EH interns,
Daisy Norwood-Kelly, Conrad Kabbaz, and Serrana Mattiauda.
During their year long internship, these EH High School seniors worked with a team from the Third House Nature Center in Montauk analyzing the water quality of Big Reed Pond and it’s surrounding flora and fauna. Their findings are essential to the long-term study of the area.
